Upstate and the Hudson Valley

The Hudson Valley has easy daytime dates: the towns of Beacon and Cold Spring are a short train ride from the city, which makes them a good meeting point for a city member and an upstate one. Further north, the Finger Lakes and the Adirondacks make lovely trips once you know each other.
